History

 
All of us at Rivertek Media have always had a keen interest in Graphic Design, Movie and Photography, our original remit when we started Rivertek was to develop world class industrial strength software for our clients, as we developed our software we were constantly using our understanding of good User Interface, Graphic Design and Video knowledge within our products.


So our clients were asking us whether we would develop web sites for these products we were developing for them, it was a simple step for us as we already had extensive knowledge of the internet and networking systems. In fact Rivertek has even developed its very own web server technology specifically for the mobile phone market.


Our first web site was “I Will Lose Weight” - a comprehensive web application incorporating server side calorie charts, complete user login and payment system, active diary and food planning this application comprised of some 50,000 lines of code and took 6 months to complete.


2005 was a busy year complete both concept artwork, corporate oxygen and projektGB.


In 2006 Mike Payne Studio’s selected us to provide an exciting web site for their artistic studio and this was completed to the exacting standards of one of the UK’s best concept art studio’s.


In 2007 Direct Response one of the UK’s top call centre teams chose us to provide a completely new and updated web site - using .Net technologies and with a comprehensive communications and content.


Soon after we also received the go ahead for “Charlie’s Ark”, a new concept brand developed for a world wide market.


2008 has already started very busy - we are the preferred web site suppliers for the following exciting projects:


Make X Ltd - A world leading company specialising in concept hardware and inventions.


V5 - A web site in support of a brand new global industrial product, we are also provide HD video for trade shows and marketing.


Charlies Ark Corporate - in support of the Charlie’s Ark brand we will be developing a corporate web site.
