Rivertek Industrial have developed the Micro XML parser specifically to be the smallest and most compact XML parser and document object model (DOM) on the market.

Extensible Mark-up Language (XML) is the standard for data exchange between computers, applications and devices. With the emergence of so many technologies based around XML it is important to use a XML parser that best fits the need of any particular solution.

Micro XML is a Java 2 Micro Edition XML parser and document object model designed to fit the following requirements:

The actual MicroXML library is around 15K in size, if you compare this to other XML parsers that usually range from 1,000K to 4,500K it is obvious the advantage and with this size comes speed, our product decodes and encodes around 50% fast than other Java XML parsers.

Our product has been designed specifically to run on small devices and therefore we have worked hard to provide XML decodes and encodes around 50% fast than other Java XML parsers.

Micro XML is simple to use, if you have an existing XML format you can encode and decode this file and using our document object model to view and alter the contents. Alternatively you can derive of one our DOM interfaces and register the tag with the new DOM class - it is as simple as that.
